Cleaning scans takes TONS of time. I really respect nii-sama and the DPG staffs for what they've done all this time EVEN more now. It seemed such an easy thing to do, to clean scans, but it's so time consuming. Like time really flies. Well this could definitely be lessened if i was more experienced.
It's quite extraordinary really when it seems as though you're doing the most simplest of tasks yet it requires alot of patience and sharp eyes to get rid of those annoying blotches, blurry edges, folded creases, dust, hair...8D and it's sad how people who have never done such manual labour don't appreciate the crisp quality and straight clean edges to the scans that they're taking (or leeching). They never thought of the process that those people have done, i know that this doesn't apply to every scanner because most of the time you see them just posting whatever they've scanned, fresh out of the over, without bothering to clean them. I've done that before when i didn't have photoshop ;___; most people just don't understand how important it is, to share the passion that those scanners have done in order to deliver the best that those scanned pages deserves.
Anyways, it runs in the family. The urge to have things in HQ and clean (not applicable to our bedrooms LOL) i mean...
O hey bro, you can clean those Otsuka Ai scans yourself if you're bothered ya? Yes i'm mean. Because the ones i've cleaned, i've resized them much smaller than the insanely huge originals. Besides, photobucket resizes them if they're too big. Actually never mind. I'm going to give the magazines to you anyways so you'll have the original copies =D and i finished wrapping all 5 volumes of Rose Hip Zero (gotta find the sequel). I skimmed through it. It's only the 1st volume that i read properly from beginning to end (don't get alot of things haha), after that it was like bleh~. Ain't exactly such a good manga imo. Art was definitely good since it was by Fujisawa Tohru after all. But GTO has still gotta be his greatest work thus far.
I'm going to die. I underestimated the no. of scans that i began with. I actually still have 135 scans left to clean *bangs head onto wall repeatedly*
scans,
