update on my life
SO. My finals start in exactly one week today. I've still done fuck all revision. This is beginning to worry me, but not quite enough to get me off my arse and revise, so the worst kind of worrying I guess...
In other news, I had my Accenture assessment centre today, I think it went okay, not brilliantly, not awfully, just okay...I'll be quite surprised if I got the job. Kinda down to a lack of preperation due to complacency due to already having a job offer from CSC...but meh. Thing is, after today, I would *really* quite like to work for them, they sold themselves well. It sounds like a really cool place to work, the role itself sounds perfect, Accenture are pretty much the best at what they do, AND they take everyone to Chicago for training which is basicially like another freshers week. Only for 2 weeks. In Chicago.
(the pay is also insane, 6k 'bonus' after 2 weeks? yes please!)
Only problem is that they've moved back the start date to September '09, so I'd have to figure out what to do with myself for a year if I did get the job (and decide to take it over CSC)
I'll hear back within 10 working days, not expecting much, but I dunno...I guess I'm in with a shot...we'll see. I can think about it all once I know if I have the job or not...
