That sounds really cool!! Anything with my parents is usually boring. Well, I think I will stay home a lot, for Channukah. During the day I might hang around with my friends or something like that. Then after all the family stuff I will write letters. My mom keeps talking about a "surprise" it's kind of weird. So I will probably be having some weird surprise soon. I wonder...

Si. Yo madre es mal. << That means my mum is bad. She is way evil. Pushing me to be less geeky, and more popular. She might buy me some really fancy icky nasty dress or something to go to some ball or whatever, trying to have me make friends... My dad doesn't care as much.

Sorry love, but, I've got you beat. My mother is a pureblood extremist. If she wasn't worried about getting her hands dirty she'd be an open supporter of you-know-who. She's constantly telling me that I am overweight and that I picked the wrong people to hang out with. My daddy believes that purebloods are superior to everyone else but he doesn't believe that muggle killing is the right thing to do.

That is pretty scary. Remind me to never, ever come over your house for a holiday. Ever. Although I am happy my parent's aren't Muggle Supremists, otherwise I would probably be in the same situation as you. They are a little annoyed at me not hanging with more Jews.
