Dear Bertha,
I hope you are having a wonderful holiday. What kind of things are you doing? Anything really fun? Well, I am over at my parent;s house right now, making hot cocoa for all the kids once they come in. I know, really boring. So to kick it up a little, I put tons of cinnamon in my Mum's cup. Hehe!! My dad is busy shoveling snow, and I will probably have to help him soon. Maybe I will throw some at him, I don't know. Anyway, this must sound really really boring, and truthfully it is. I want my family to come over so I can start some fun with my cousin Megan. She always has a trick or two up her sleeve. Write back soon and tell me how you are, and if it is a lot more exciting than here, ( which I am sure it is) I can't wait until I get back to school with you!! It should be a lot of fun. Dear Lionel,
I hope you are having a great holiday, even if your mother is forcing Purebloods on you!! I hope you get to see Hestia soon, and maybe I can meet her some day. She seems really nice. Did you learn anything interesting in the Charm book? What kinds of things are you doing? We are setting up Channukah decorations, and my cousins are really excited about lighting the candles, hehe. Isn't it amazing how little kids are excited about the most mundane things? Well, sorry to be so short, but I have to go for an errand to get some potatoes and gelt. See you soon!!
