I had just returned from my field research to see that my mom's car had dents at the passenger's door. Apparently some old uncle banged into my mom's car and slowed down to see if my mom's okay and then sped off. Even though my mum insisted that it was her fault in the first place, the least thing that uncle could do is wave apologetically to my mom if he doesn't like the idea of getting out of his car to apologise.
Pfft. Some KL drivers.
But anyway, I couldn't be relieved and grateful enough to know that my mum and my brothers are alright. Initially, they wanted to go to Cineleisure (cuz my brother wanted to add another Gundam figurine to his ever-expanding Gundam collection) but my mum decided to turn back and head home when that happened. I, on the other hand, went to Central Market with my college buddy, E, to conduct a research on Ethnography's concept. We managed to get something, thank goodness. It was when I was about to go home that I heard the news.
Anyway.
I'm supposed to start doing my first draft for that term paper on teenage pregnancy and submit it this coming Friday to Mr.P. But of course, I tend to be distracted when the Internet happens to be right in front of me.
Cause of distraction?
I came across this rather interesting article on
aramatheydidnt:
http://community.livejournal.com/aramatheydidnt/559685.html And seriously? I think it's the same case here in Malaysia. Most citizens read an average 1-2 pages PER YEAR. According to Mr.P anyway. But yeeaahh, I did read in the papers how the government been trying to tackle this problem by holding campaigns and whatnot.
ENDOFRANT.
Gotta get back to doing my draft. I've got TONS of articles waiting for me. x____x
