Work has been my primary focus in recent years - someone's had to bring home the bacon (as they say) and it's been me for the most part, but now...ah, now we're seeing a change. I may even (GASP!) be on here more often! SO here's the poop:
It's never a good sign when someone is hired to do your job. When you're brought into the office, told that you're not meeting standards and therefore CAN be terminated at any time. A few months ago I snapped. Started on a fairly serious job hunt and found that I was accepted as a candidate to work for Farmer's Insurance, but first would have to pass my insurance exam. I've been studying for this and am very excited about the potential! Last month at the dealership I had my worst sales month on record. I was doing fine until the last 2 weeks when the deals were entirely casb, out the door or customers with zero credit and zero rate or room to move as far as sales went. I'm selling SOMETHING every day, but not enough, apparently. This month I am doing everything I can to find something else. Something that will pay rent and pay for my tests, etc. for Farmer's so I can move on to that asap. There is potential now and possibilities...and my husband is phenomenal and VERY supportive.
I can't wait.
