See, I see Sophie entirely differently. I see some pretty hard evidence that Nate's out of control (stabbing a client; putting Parker then himself at serious risk; hypnotizing a member of the team... and that's on top of the drinking). She's not telling Nate her true name because she only shares that with people she trusts... and right now, Nate isn't worthy of that trust.
She's telling Nate he's out of control, but she's not trying to change him. Only to get him to realize that he is -- it's his failure to recognize what he's doing that makes her need to repeat it.
