Television and Writing
This year I'm watching Stargate Universe, Merlin, Project Runway, Glee, and I'm embarrassed to admit Cycle 15 of American's Next Top Model. And since it's available on hulu I was considering giving ABC's My Generation a go. Are there any new shows that people have enjoyed so far?
I did officially sign up for the syfybigbang. After days of stalling I have an outline of what I want to accomplish. Right now I have 3,006 words. I've past the warm, glowy happy stage of "this is such an awesome idea and I rock" and have moved into "I'm a awful writer and this is trash". In a strange way, that's good news.
The bulk of the story will be from Arthur's perspective and it's been a bit of a challenge to get myself into his mindset. Arrogant, yet noble, and at the same time clueless. I know I'm going to need a Brit picker sometime soon.
Then I have six pages of handwritten dialogue which I banged out in like fifteen minutes last weekend. Mainly they are conversations between Merlin and Morgana. But It's six pages that don't fit into the current story...a sequel maybe, but not this story.
I need to go Merlin icon hunting!
Has anyone heard segmented sleep before? I'd never heard about it before today, which sort of shocked me. Personally, it sounds wonderful to me.
