Day 13 → A fictional book
This one has thrown me a bit - a favourite fictional book? One I'm reading at the moment? One I'd like to read? Maybe that's the point, to make you think about what you want to post rather than just throwing something up.
Um. Well, next on my fictional reading list (as in, a reading list of fictional books, not a list that is itself fictional) is Empire of the Sun by J G Ballard. One of those books I always vaguely wanted to read but only possess now because it was free with a newspaper. Oh well. I read the first page, and it seemed good, but then I had to put it down to go read up on international cultural property law.

I'm a little worried about a friend of mine, who is currently holidaying on the Tonga islands, off the coast of New Zealand which is just stating to get hit by the tsunami caused by the earthquake in Chile... I'm sure she'll be fine, but... it's horrible enough hearing about these things without knowing someone who might be directly affected.
