My life as of this week will become easier for the rest of the year on the work front unless we get a consulting case. Uni work is much lighter after tomorrow's quiz--the last quiz of the semester. The rest of the year will be mostly review and the final exam is in about a month, so we have a bit of time.
I started buying Christmas gifts. Got one for the kidlets and one for hubs. I think that might be it for the personal gifts for them, as we will be buying a water softener for the house as a gift to each other and will be going to get the rest of our stocking stuffers, etc. on a bus trip in 4 weeks. We also bought outdoor changing lights for the shrubbery by the house. Those should all arrive today. It's wonderfully temperate right now, but raining. Maybe tomorrow will be a good day to hang the lights?
I made a big pot of gumbo today. So good! I've been snitching some all afternoon, so tonight when I meet Cindy for our writing night, I'll get a dessert instead of a meal. 😉
On that front, I need to shower before I go out in public today, and I still haven't downloaded my trip photos from Indiana/Ohio so I don't have any to post yet but I should soon. I still haven't gotten our Shawnee Trip downloaded either. I am feeling better finally, though that stupid cough does catch me off-guard once in a while.
