Grading Hell Theater: Jumping the gun a bit

Quick side note: people keep saying "Fletcher" on Castle. It is very distracting.

Got some lovely grading hell theater ideas, and I have decided I am in a mood for Halloween. I was going to wait a week or two, but what the hey:

Your favorite characters. Halloween, or the MidWorld/Athos/Boshane equivalent. Discuss.

The annual Gilead Harvest Ball always unnerved Roland Deschain. It was not just that it was one of the few events where the adults wore their finery that children were also permitted. It was not just the elaborate dance the boys in training had to learn and perform. No, it was the masks. There was something about the false faces that made him uneasy, offended him, even. Why would the grown-ups want to hide their faces? What was it they wanted to do that they couldn't do with their real faces showing?

Years later, he would reflect on these questions with bittersweet wonder at his own innocence. Of course, by then, he had a new reason to hate fall celebrations.

Richard Castle, OTOH, loves Halloween. He loved it when it meant parties with lots of alcohol and scantily clad women. He loved it when it meant escorting the cutest Robin Hood ever trick-or-treating, and he loves it now when it means a freaky murder with Beckett.

Your turn!
