To the "fannish friend" who bought me a nifty ebook, thank you!!!
To the credit card I have had for a bajillion years: I forgive you for accidentally taking my payment twice (why does this shit keep happening and emptying my bank account?), not so much because you refunded it, but because you pointed out that I had accumulated enough rewards points to qualify for $300 in Amazon gift dollars. This might have been nice to know before holiday shopping, but hey: I never don't need Amazon money.
To my new feline brother, who is curled up on my feet: <3.
To my new feline sister, who is hiding somewhere: Look, it's really not my fault that Mom changed your name to Molly. She doesn't think Lucy is really my name, anyway. OTOH, it is my name, you know. Come out! I will give you chin scritches!
To all my friends who celebrate Christmas: May your Christmas be merry and bright, and free from drama.
To all my fannish friends who are participating in Yuletide, or even just waiting for stories to post: OMGWTFYULETIDE!!!
To everyone who read these journals: Thank you, sincerely, for being there through one of the roughest years of my life. There have been days when a few comments containing nothing more than "{{hugs}}" have been the only uncomplicated sources of happiness and strength I have had. You guys are awesome, and I say that with no reservations.
