Katsucon
Katsucon has been eliminated. I'd like to go, but it's really not a possibility this year. New job, and I've got my Senior Trip at the end of this month, and I-Con in March, and I'd like to have money. =\
I-Con
Oh, gods, I can't wait until I-Con. <3 It's one of my two most looked-forward to conventions. It was a toss up between my school musical (The Pajama Game, I made it into Ensemble, and it's the same weekend as I-Con), but I decided that my loyalties lied with my con friends and my close-knit group, like Jacki, Amy, Spud, Sam, and Britt. Even though some of them are doing things like Crew, Cast, and Pit, I decided that I didn't get to dress up as Malon for the Musical, and I look like a monkey on a trampoline when I try choreographed moves. So, I-Con it is. <3

Anime Boston
AB is actually a possiblity this year. Without Katsu, and seeing as how AB is so close to my birthday (my 18th this year!), it's very likely that I could con my parents into buying me a room for it and my friends, and Amtracking it up there or something. It's not a definite in the slightest, and it's still up in the air as to whether it would be worth it, but if you're going, lemme know. It may sway my decision.
AnimeNEXT!
My favorite con. It's close between AN and I-Con, but AN I think is my favorite con. Almost all of my con friends go, and it's where I met most of them. I can't wait. I'm so excited. We've decided to stay in Amerisuits this year, opposed to Embassy's up-ed rates, but either way, MAN are we gonna have fun this year. Mom and Dad won't be attending with us, seeing as how Amy and I will be 18 (finally)
Otakon
We're gonna drag Amy this year - whether she's up to it or not. It's about two weeks after Otakon, I think, and it's going to be freaking nuts with her there. It's gonna rock so hard. Don't know about cosplay that far in advance, but I'm excited, nevertheless.
MangaNEXT!
Never been - but I hear it was pretty good for a first-year con. Maybe next year, seeing as how it's in the same spot as AN. I assume a lot of the same people will eventually start going, even though it's after the new school year's started. Ah well - here's hoping!
And those have been my thoughts for the past... while. <3 I find I have nothing to update when I'm not bitching about how zippers suck and I hate sewing machines. (Which I still need. >_> I should... get on that.)
Senior year this year, halfway over. I'm in the top 19% of my class, which means I'm better than 81% of the people I'm going to graduate with. Not as high as I would have liked, but it's still pretty good. A lot of my friends are in, like, the top 5%, but they work harder than me. ...By a long shot. :) So yer.
I also sent in my applications today to SUNY New Paltz, Purchase, and Fredonia. I'm nervous. <3
