Hola!
Ragtime closed yesterday. Very sad. It just hit me how close our cast has become and that i won't see any of them for a while. I'll miss everyone a lot.
Songs for a New World opens next week however, and I am sooooo excited. We sound absolutely amazing together as an ensemble. I don't know if Ohio is even ready to handle a show like this. We will see i guess...
In other news I got an email from Paul at Speakeasy about their fall show "Zanna, Don't!". He asked me to give him a buzz and clear up what happened with Parade which was really just awesome of him. We talked for a bit and he really gave me some good advice about dealing with awkward situations in the professional world. I'm really glad we had that conversation and things are patched with Speakeasy and I. He offered me the part of Mike the chess champion. Its a really great part with some really awesome songs and I'm totally stoked to do it. Anich and Stephanie are playing two of the other principles in the show so its going to be really fun.

What else...Being in Ohio has been so soothing. Theres nothing to do but... I'm really enjoying taking time to myself and lounging outside in the sun. Being in such a rural area is exactly what i'v been needing in my life lately. Don't get me wrong, I LOOOOOOVE the city. But i think everyone should to take some time off from all that business and chill out and recharge for a bit.
Its almost 7:30 and the sun is just starting to set. I think maybe I should get up and do something productive now. Not that relaxing isn't productive...
