(no subject)
Hey ya'll.
So Bubbly Black Girl closed last Sunday :(
It was a great run, the cast was really fun and I met some amazing people along the course of rehearsals and such! Joe surprised me and came to see the show a week ago - that made me really happy. Just another reminder of how great my boyfriend is :)
Casting News! - i had my callback in NY for Footloose the musical a few weeks ago and I was cast the next day! I will be going to Kansas to U/S Ren and be a dancer in the show at the Crown Uptown Theatre in downtown Wichita! Exciting? Yup.
I leave sometime around January 15th i guess so I'm guessing ill have to make my rounds and say goodbye to everyone as i won't be returning until April 2nd! I think I'm having a going away party in Boston so ill have to invite everyone. Once i come back its back to working at the Eagle all day and then I start rehearsals for Parade at Speakeasy Stage on April 17th! W00t.
What else... OH! Today I ran into some random blasts from the pasts on the street. I saw my friend Donald on my way to the Prudential Center today - i haven't seen him since we did Miss Saigon together like almost 2 years ago! We had probably a half hour conversation in the middle of the street and we made plans to hang out next weekend. I also ran into my friend Liz Hartford at AE when I was just getting off of work! I haven't seen her since our days at Capachione! now THATS a long time. Probably 4 years now. It was great to see her too.
I guess thats all that happened today - i shopped around at Lacoste and AE for some Xmas presents and i found some awesome gifts.... I didn't buy any of them...but I'm gonna by them 2morrow when i deposit my bubbly check!
