(no subject)
Hi everyone! I hope this finds you well on a somewhat chilly weekend.
I have some great news to share with you all. I got an “A” in my Intro to Business class and a “B” on my Sociology class. I think I would have got an “A” in Sociology, if we didn’t have any group projects. So today I celebrated by being lazy around the house. I actually slept in until after 4pm. But then again, that could be because I was out late until real early morning.
I also recently ordered a laptop…. 3.6ghz, 1 gig RAM, DVD player & CD RW combo; 100gig harddrive, 17” monitor… and some other cool stuff.
My work life is going really well. I have another interview, internally, on Wednesday. I applied to a lot of positions and my manager says she is really supportive of my next step.

I want to talk about last night because this should not be forgotten. SO, I went with Jose down to Pure and we were to see Josh. I told Jose that I predict that the evening will turn out where I am left alone and he and Josh will go off. Guess what? I WAS RIGHT, he left me alone. SO, there I was in this new club not knowing a sole and drinking it up. At first I was pinned against the wall by my shyness. But then I realized that I had to get out there and shake my booty.
I walked up to the bar and someone pulled my shirt. “Hey, I LOVE that shirt. What’s your name?” And then we talked for about an hour down in the piano bar floor. Then I went up and some 28 year old, whose name I am not remembering asked me to dance with him. Then I realized Jose was not around and it was 2:30am! I called him and he said he was at Josh’s (!!!!!). You can imagine the anger and confusion.
Josh offered to come get me and show me how to get out of the city. See, I’m really good with getting in the city, but getting out will require a GPS or lots of practice.
Jose was sorry, but I hope he figures out what he wants out of his life. Matters of the heart shouldn’t be tossed around nor taken so lightly. And as we know, when playing with fire, you may get burned.

I have to go to sleep now. I was just speaking with the most delightful person, but lost track of time. I wish you all a great rest of the weekend!
