Health Quest

I can't believe I just used the word "quest" in the subject title, as I believe it belongs in the category of the 2 nerdiest words of all time: "Quest" and "Guild". But I'll try to move on.

So lately I haven't been exercising much. Early in the year I was a powerhouse, now I'm slowly returning to my couch potato ways. A lot of it has to do with my class hours moving from 6 to only 2 per day... and so I'd come home, nothing to do, no job, no hope... lol. Anyway, just an all-around sluggish attitude. Well, things will change quickly now that the new semester is just around the corner and life will have to return to a much more strict schedule. Also, as time went on, money became less and less. As we all know, health food and fresh food are generally more expensive than pre-packaged and processed, so my diet has had to take a little detour as of the past few weeks. Luckily,I don't think I'm actually *gaining* any weight back, but it sucks to see all the work I've done to change my whole lifestyle this year, just to see it flatlining now.

Now I arrive at the crossroads, the same damn roads I've come to so many times before. I work so hard, then end up throwing it all away because I get lazy... and want to eat ice cream, lol. So, I'm making this public post hoping that in some psychological way it'll help me keep going. Besides, I already gave away all my fat clothes, so if I gain back my weight I'm kinda screwed! haha. Well, here's to anyone else trying to go through some kind of physical/emotional/whatever change. Mine's been years in the making, so let's see what happens this time around. I'm gonna go hit the gym... wish me luck!
