The Fourth went well. Nothing out of the ordinary. Fireworks. Food. Family. See what I'm doing? Heh. (Real smart...)
Since Kevin (my older brother) was around for the holiday, we went to the local gym and played some basketball. And that did not go too well. He's the senior captain of his university's team; in a word, he's good. I managed to twist my ankle. So no basketball for a few days...
I was telling my dad about some of the Chosen I've met on LiveJournal, and that turned out to be a good thing, as he has pitched a good idea. He told me that he is usually invited to two international professional psychology conferences every year. One is in Italy, and the other is in Japan. Since I am going to be studying psychology, he suggested that I look into getting university permission to attend the conference in Japan. I could stay with my dad, go to a professional conference, and, if possible, meet some of you. Of course, nothing is guaranteed at this point. It's a good idea, though....
Hey Lou. If you can tell me when you're gonna call, that'd be great. I have to run errands for my mother over the next few days, and she's more willing to let me take time out to talk if I can give her a good estimate. She's crazy about scheduling things.
