Time for an actual update on life-related things...
Wallace? It's getting so close. Are we getting together to celebrate? Should I send you something? I don't think we have similar personalities, so picking something out might be tough. Please don't say "girls": I don't know if I can follow through with that request.
I've never had a so-called "favorite" band, but I've discovered one that I like a lot. To be honest, I can't even really put them in a genre; I guess they're something along the lines of bluegrass folk-rock. Calm at times, but also very raw and energetic at times, as well. I connect with them very easily. A lot of stringed instruments.
I've discussed the upcoming university transition with Solarmon. He seems upbeat about the whole process. Much more so than myself... My dad keeps telling me that I shouldn't overload myself during the first semester. I guess he's right, but I do want to make a good first impression. I also have basketball to worry about. I'd love to play, but I know I'll have to put in a lot of work in order to make the team. Oh well...no reason to be too concerned. Just have to dive in and give it all a go!
Also, if I haven't introduced myself to you yet, I apologize. I'm somewhat overwhelmed by the number of people using LiveJournal at the moment...
