It's PAX weekend
The yearly pilgrimige of nerdom has begun. Himself is down for the weekend to go to PAX in Boston with dad and his cousins. They bond over this stuff. I really could care less, though I did my part and made my son a costume to wear, which thankfully this year was a simple one (no plastic bondo mask to create). Just a cape and a hat so he could be Wirt from Over the Hedge. It came out pretty good, though patternless, I had to make a few alterations... Wasted material. The hat came out great, with iron on basting stuff to stifen it up. But it's a cone so how can I go wrong?
The cat has been okay this week. I made the switch to wheat based litter, that still clumps and claims to control odor better. We'll see. It does clump. It's twice the cost, but I can safely say one trip to the vet will cover the extra cost.
Boys are just home now..... Long day and it all starts again tomorrow.
