A balmy Christmas eve
61 degrees and raining on Christmas eve. To date, there has not been a hard freeze in the ground. It got a little crunchy once or twice, but then back to soft pliable earth. Its' the end of December, and there is no snow coat... so that just isnt normal AT ALL. Though if it happens long enough, it becomes normal right? sigh.
The boy, the lad.. the .... oh hell, he's an adult now.. will be sleeping in tomorrow morning. So we don't have to rush to get up and open presents. Seems kind of sad in a way... but nice too... Just as long as he's up at a reasonable hour.. which he hasn't been this week. Oh the days of sleeping till noon or later and staying up till 3am. Oh god, what a horrid thought that seems like now.
