I survived

Well, the early morning jaunt to the lock in was fine. I got up no problem after about a 2 hour sleep, then stayed up for 3 hours chatting about silly local politics and movie actors. They were playing Ferris Beulers Day Off and then Breakfast Club, so that was fun for the background. Himself was playing Yugeo with some other kids and then just hanging. He only acknowledged me when he needed some chapstick. Thank goodness the Moose Smootch was still in my purse. The good old fall back.  After my shift I came home and crashed, basically going right to sleep. Although I have to say that I think I have conditioned myself to get to sleep before my husband, as his snoring drives me nuts and was keeping me from getting back to sleep quickly. He got up at 6 ish and went to get the boy, then they did the papers, which Himself muchly protested. LOL! Sucks to be you kid. You could have snoozed, other kids were. He slept from 8am to 3pm, and that's when we left for the movies. I think he went back to sleep and didn't get 'up' until we got back at 7pm. Yeah….

So the adults went out to see the Dallas Buyers Club. Great movie. Really stunning. And something everyone should see to remind us what scumbags our government is. It is exactly the things in this movie that make you realize why people don't trust the government and having them run health care. Although in the same breath, the alternatives are that the private companies run it, and the same stuff happens. Its a no win situation when all that matters is money. Gone forever are the days of Jonas Salk and the polio vaccine that he did not make money on. That could never happen today.
