End season 3 GoT.
Phew.
And it's raining again. That 3 days of 90' scared me there, but since I took the flannel sheets off, the weather has been cool or chilly. And that dry spell? Well, now we are building arks. I'm happy for the rain but boy, spread it out a bit will ya?
Garden is in.. corn is growing, as are my bought cukes and squash. The only seeds that have come up well though are the pumpkins. The squash seeds I put in a few weeks ago are doing poorly. But the pumpkins I put in about a week ago are going bonkers. I found one sweet potato that is growing finally, but the store finally had them so I bought a 6 pack today. Why wait? One egg plant, and my tomato plants and pepper plants from a few weeks ago are doing very well, even have some little tomatoes on the plants.
Spooks caught a downy woodpecker today. I felt bad for it but when he let it go, it flew away. I suspect it wont survive, but... what can I say. He gets very nasty towards Muffin when he doesn't go out. It's like he needs to get his ya ya's out. He's brought home a few moles this year and the bird, no chipmunks yet.
Time for bed.. past time.. Got to read some more GoT..... I'll be so bummed when I'm all done and caught up!
