The faces of Meth
It's been a long time, but guess who stopped by to see me today???

Well, it was Biv. I knew you knew that from the title, you who have been waiting with baited breath to find out what became of her.
Today I was out plowing the snow, and some car pulls in and I'm instantly irritated thinking "where the heck do they think they are going?" So I pull over to let them by, and look back only to see Biv. She's uber excited to see me. Skinny as ever. Mobile as ever. She gave me a hug. I chatted with her for a bit about what she's up to (she working in a bar) (she moved to another town) (she broke up with her BF *again) (she's driving her aunts car because her car got totaled (which I knew because my cuz took the call, she rear ended someone in her volvo and totaled it (totaled a Volvo!) (she's taking care of her sick aunt?) (she is there for me if I need her, no pay, no problem) (this is the 4 year anniversary of her mom's death *she will apparently never get past that).
And she appears to be a meth head. Now, I don't know this for certain, but I do know her face looked like it had psoriasis, which she tried to cover with makeup. Not acne, but dime sized sores that were all over her face. She never had that kind of problem when she worked for me. I always suspected she was shooting up as she had a lot of arm marks, and occasionally she would have some acne, but what I saw today was ridiculous. I can only assume she's using meth, and 'tweaking' as I have been told it's called.
She told me one of her former 'boyfriends' was dying of cirrhosis of the liver. I take that with a grain of salt, although it's totally possible that it's true since the guy lives in a bar. I can see her working as a bartender, but not in any respectable place. She is a people person, either way. And apparently the money must be enough for her to afford a car, which she never had when she worked for me. Enough also to afford the drugs? Who knows. It's speculation of course, but boy, she sure looks like she's using. :( Shame. Well, that's the update for now.
