So I met with the doctor. And of course as I said, I've been feeling much better the last week. Go figure. I told her I would have canceled it again if I hadn't already done that. But I went through with it. She didn't seem to think any invasive procedure was warranted yet. But she did sign me up for a test to see if I'm lactose intolerant... which I don't think I am. And one that checks the flaura and fauna of my gut. She also suggested over the counter remedies like beano. So we'll see how things go. It would be great if everything was fine... just that I've already done one of these cycles before.. so I assume I'll feel miserable again eventually. Ho hum.
We missed the winter storm and just got rain. That was a blessing for me as I had a funeral to deal with. Same thing happened last time a snow storm was predicted. hmmmm
The guy who moves our monuments for us had a hernia operation, so now I'm on edge about if we get a funeral and have to have a stone moved... but we'll take it as it comes.
I got a Dazer for the dogs. I tried it out on my brother's dog, with his permission. The dog was like WTF! Let me see that! and he started barking at me. Not exactly the reaction I expected. I don't know if he would have backed off if I had kept pressing it (it makes a noise they don't like that only they can hear) but I'll wait to try it on the dogs I don't like at the cemetery.
I think I may have pissed off the guy who walks his dogs off leash in my cemetery. Which is okay, but it's his loss. We have signs about dogs needing to be leashed, and he always has at least one dog off leash. This time he had both off leash. One dog ran in front of my car, and wouldn't get out from in front of it and wouldn't come when the owner called, and the next day I nearly hit the damn thing... so I yelled out as I was going by that he really should be on a leash. Which he should. I didn't see him in the cemetery for while after that, but he came in last week and I wanted to talk to him about doing some work on my uncles stone, but he didn't stop. Just headed up to 'walk' the dogs. Don't know if he didn't see me or was afraid I'd tell him not to walk the dogs up there... whatever. I'm going to have someone else do the work. :/
Well, Ryther has been gone for the week but will be back tomorrow. I guess I have to go to my cold bed. Have to try to get the cats to come warm me up.
