Vampire empire.
It sounded like a fun premise, but it ended up being a gorefest of foolishness. Daybreakers got two 'see it' nods from the new At the Movies guys, but they should have had two Rent it's instead. Just not that good. Fun premise, but they just didn't do much with it. And as usual, William Dafoe is just silly.
Himself wanted to see it, and it looked like something he could handle. We just watched District 9 with all it's bloodyness. But he didn't like it at all, and ended up going into another movie while we finished Daybreakers. Oh well. Whatever.
I did see a preview for the new Wolfman movie, which also looks like it could be fun. The original is one of my favorite movies, along with the original Dracula. It could also be horrible, if trailers are any indication (see above).
