Waiting 4 days did not get me a winner on the NH lottery. I know, it doesn't 'really' change the odds, but it seems like on the tickets that I have forgotten about over the years, which isn't that many, that I seem to actually win something on those tickets.
I did notice that the odds of winning are actually written on the back of the lottery ticket. This $5. ticket has overall odds of winning at 1 in 3.91. Massachusetts used to print out the odds on a card that you could pick up at the local convince mart where you bought the card when a new card came out. They stopped that years ago, and I seem to recall the odds being much worse than 1 in 4. I doubt they even have it on their web site. I should go look.
I had again forgotten about the ticket until Biv spotted it today. I had to stop at my brother's house today and the roofers were there and needed to get some electricity. So while I was doing that, Biv let her fingers do the walking. Before I got back in the car (cause she has to yell, she cant wait till you get in the car) she says "why do you have an unscratched ticket in your car?" And I said "why are you going through my stuff?" She backtracked and made it like she was being helpful pointing out I had this valuable ticket there that I must not have known about. I'm thinking, what makes you think it's OK to go through other peoples stuff?
I had other things to talk about, but my mind is blanking and I need to paint.
I'll try to write about the arson story and the green revolution later.
