No more flower show
The New England Flower Show has been canceled for 2009. I can understand why though. It's way overpriced, just to look at flower displays and basically advertising for dozens of landscapers and contractors, and a chance to buy plants and stuff after. I forget what the price was the last time we went, but I think it was around $25. Then there is the overpriced food at the Bayside Expo Center. Oh, and don't forget the outrageous parking fees. Yeah, can't understand why it isn't making it.
