Stories that didn't make the cut...[3]

Apr 11, 2010 21:30

Waaa! I'm actually quite happy with this weeks J-Entertainment News video (which is being uploaded to Youtube at this very moment). I'm really starting to get the hang of this thing. I get a happy feeling every time I get a new subscriber (n_n). Now the only thing that's left is to figure out are graphics and such. I would like to give my livejournal a makeover but I'm not sure how to do that as well. With time I would also like to make or design an intro for the J-Entertainment videos. But until then I'll do what I can.

But anyway there were a few stories that didn't make the cut this time around but are still worth taking a look at:

Criticism toward "Tokujo Kabachi!":  community.livejournal.com/aramatheydidnt/722836.html

It seems that the people at the Japanese Bar Association are not happy with the drama since the characters that Maki and Sho play, which are notary publics, do not follow the "Bengoshi-Ho" or Lawyers Law to a T. Basically they do things that are above their position and which they shouldn't be allowed to do. The Bar Association won't sue, but they do want a public apology and no DVD's or further broadcasting of the drama.

To this I have to say: "Come on!" It is a fictional drama! I think the Bar Association should conform to a disclaimer placed somewhere that states that they are not real lawyers, it's a fiction that it is based on a manga. If they have problems with the drama they should also have problems with the manga right?

I guess that the reason this story didn't make it into the video was time reasons, it could of fit in well with the Arashi news but I didn't want to stretch the video too long.

This story didn't make the cut because it came out the same day I had everything organized and ready and had already started filming for the video. Now for some reason I would love to see this movie and according to the article the original manga follows the couple up to the birth of their first child, but the movie doesn't get that far. However they have hinted that if the movie is successful they might continue the story in a part 2.

I hope someone in the fandom decides to take this project up, it really looks like it would be fun to watch.

And now for rankings...

Oricon Rankings for Spring Drama 2010 Expectation:  community.livejournal.com/aramatheydidnt/714583.html

So here they had an internet survey to see which dramas people are most looking forward too. You can check out the full list in the link above but I'll mention the ones I'm interested in and the ranking they got.
This one didn't make the cut because I just couldn't work out a good way to fit it in without taking up too much time.

So the Dorama I am most looking forward to:

So my number 1 was ranked number 3. Being a huge Ohno fan, how can I not be looking forward to this. (^_^)

My number 2 is ranked number 5. I really want to see how Eita and Juri will act in this one. I wonder how Twittery it will be...

Yankee-kun to Megane-chan, my number 3 ranked number 8. Now really the true reason I can't wait to see this drama is the fact that Narimiya Hiroki is starring. And it does sound somewhat interesting...

And lastly

My number 4 ranked number 10. Guys doing rhythmic gymnastics, what's not to look forward too?

So those were the interesting stories that didn't make this weeks cut. But if your into rankings then I recommend this one as well. community.livejournal.com/aramatheydidnt/717721.html  it has quite a few rankings some of which include Celebrities that probably have a quick temper, Most soothing Johnny's, Groups where the members are close to each other, etc.

Arashi and or Arashi members made it into a few of the rankings. Yay Arashi!! (^_^)/

So there you have it fandom, now I'm going to watch me some Himitsu no Arashi-chan!!!!
