its over...batboy is over....*sigh*...let me tell you--even though it took till 1am to strike the set...god it felt good...i got to take a sledgehammer to it...and throw pieces of it out the window...it was the first strike i was enthusiastic about doing--i wanted to destroy it...if i could--i wouldve taken a match to it...using the line set system felt pretty good too...even though that wasnt "destructive"...i hung upside-down in the cage before we put it in furniture storage....however, when trying to take it out of the elevator--it pinned my hand against the elevator door...good thing i dont play piano...
cast party was ok...i didnt feel like drinking--which wouldve made it better....funny how dancer sean from the gathering was there telling me how disappointed he was that i was on stage for so little time...and nick whom i work with at footlighters said the same...its nice to know i was noticed...and appreciated...made me feel better....but not as much as destroying the set with a sledgehammer...and screming "window" when throwing something outside...the carnage was amazing....god i needed it...
i got to have a long talk with my mike last night...i was up until 430 talking and catching up...i miss having him around...he's one of the few people who i can tell anything...the other is angel...and she's far away too...though much much further....i miss them--and i wish we could all live within a decent driving distance...but who knows when and if thatll ever be possible...so ill save up money for plane tickets and weekends for long drives....anyway, my point was i got to talk to mike about some things that were on my mind--and i feel much better...
so--i cant graduate in the spring...hooray...one class conflicts--meaning i need to take it over the summer...its not a huge deal...but it means i walk in the spring and get a summer degree....see--'interpersonal communications' conflicts with both costuming II and contemporary world theatre (which i'll be in with brian)....so yeah--that means i cant have it this spring...stupid rowan...ruining my life...*grumble*....after that--who knows what i'm gonna do...i do need to call one of three game stores that are interested in me and set that up soon....yikes....
soon i rehearsal for 'and so it goes', as well as 'the right to remain' with sue and 'english made simple' with adam...and tonight i have rehearsal for candice's directing scene...yay...real work again...thank you thespis...
