Baby eating habits
Ales has decided that while he likes his breast milk, he wants to use it more as a drink and eat the same thing mommy and daddy do. He gets mad and throws tantrums when we don't give him a taste of everything we're eating, and there are some things he just isn't ready for yet!
On the upside, it should make it easier to keep him eating healthy foods. He hasn't really turned down a food yet. Even carrots, which he hated the first time around, he eats with absolute gusto now. Porridge? Sure! Sweet Potatoes? Please? Peaches? really daddy, I get to have those, yay! It's pretty cute to watch.
John has gone to walk baby Frannie for Liz and Keith, then off to the Union hall to prove to them that yes, he is a fourth year, so please don't block him from any more fourth year calls, thanks. He had a chance at the perfect call until he goes back to school. 5/8's, in town, full commerical rate which is EXACTLY what he wanted. Now he might end up back out at Scotford, which would suck. Big time.
It would only be for two more months, since he goes back to school at the beginning of March, but he'd have to drive himself which adds up fast. It's also 5/10s, so we'd be back to seeing him for 2 hours a day before he has to go back to bed. We're hoping another call comes through for the Job he wants.
Anyway, got to go (finally) finish unpacking from New Years in Calgary. We're really sick of tripping over the suitcases, and we're trying to bash our apartment back into a somewhat clean state.
