(no subject)
so, we finally got a new computer!!! the last one was 8 years old. we are like technology dinosaurs. i feel much better about our lives and their value while sitting at a flat screen monitor. plus, it's got a black keyboard. soooo cool.
jon left today. he's in on his way to the airport now. i don't like it one bit. not one little bit. but maybe now he'll eat better.
the christmas shopping days are getting tighter and tighter... i am beginning to get worried about it. we still have some difficult people to buy for. but i have the major stuff out of the way, just have to hope the postal service does their job now.
we bought parker 3 awesome new books for christmas, shortly before he started in on his kick of wanting us to read to him almost constantly. thank you to all the health care workers who insisted that we read to our child "every day". now he's hooked.
tomorrow begins the pure joy/hell of being forced to hang out with everyone possible because they are in only in town for x amount of days and you really haven't seen them in what seems like forever. starting off with my ex-husband! maybe i should clean the house more. i don't want to look like a slack-ass for the people who will be judging me in the next week, now do i?
