Objects And Subects Combine In Shadow

Best served chilled or over ice!!!
Beer on the train is always too warm.
Announcements at every station compromised tunes that I had brought to ease my journey from the west coast to the east. With this said I was pleasantly surprised that the over all quality of travel had improved. And I was slowly becoming optimistic about having to be in that  'dirty old town'  for tomorrow's slot.
Having left that ol' frozen life in the city behind in the late nineties, with no regrets,
It did feel as if I had only been away visiting and was now returning back to where I once had called home and into a relationship that had become unpleasant.
Gazing out of the window at the hills and trees a slide-show of moments both intimate and horrific began playing retrospectively as everything became an emerald blur of the present merging with the past.
This battle continued with the destination becoming more emanate, my body began reacting in an only too natural response to fear, excitement, lust and loathing,
And that warm beer for breakfast was no help.
Guess there is no such thing as total and complete closure.
I began to take my mind off the past and slowly reclaim focus as to the reason for me being there just as we pulled into Heuston station.http://www.cie.ie
