college

Since everyone/everyone's parents are still trying to evaluate how everyone is doing in college, this is what I like about UMass/college in general:
-I'm getting enough sleep
-I'm not stressed out about trying to get into college
-I get to walk around outside in between classes, and it is a gorgeous campus/time of year
-I'm friends with my roommate
-I'm friends with Rachel down the hall who watches Smallville and writes long fantasy
-I love my linguistics class/professor/TA/subject material/building where the linguistics department offices are located and want to major in it
-I was completely right in my hypothesis that taking a creative writing class would force me to write
-I still get to take Russian at Amherst
-I can go home and eat good food/see parents/sleep alone in room whenever I want to
-I can still go to Rao's, la vera cruzana etc.
-I have a good job

This is what I don't like:
-I'm not really making friends, because of whatever kind of asocial personality disorder I've had since fifth grade
-I haven't found a group to join, because I'm scared of all other human beings (see above bullet)/group activities I used to like, such as theater and running w/other ppl, aren't appealing to me
-Sometimes I can't find anything I want to eat in the dining commons and the environment makes me freak out/some days there isn't time to eat
-I still have whatever obsessive thinking disorder I've had my entire life
-My ex-boyfriend's fiancee lives in my dorm, and it makes me scared of potential awkward moments/see above bullet
-No other core linguistics classes are offered next semester
-Teachers have made a lot of things due/are doing important things in class on Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur
