What's up, peeps?......No? I heard that somewhere.
Anyway, this past weekend I was at the BOA festival. There were both good moments and bad moments. On Thursday we had to go and listen to a motivational speaker who wasn't so motivational. The band kids loved him, probably for all the times he said something about doing 'stuff' in practice rooms. Friday we spent the night downtown. Heard the Canadian Brass, they were awesome. Got about 3 hours of sleep that night and had to play a concert the next morning. The concert went well, but then we had to go to some clinic with another conductor RIGHT AFTER we performed. He was insane. He was a bad conductor but knew how to get things done. I got to leave the festival early on Saturday and go home. That night Emily and I hung out, which was the best part of the whole weekend. We went to Ilya's for a little bit. Nothing like watching people play Halo and LOTR Risk.
Today is homework day. Can you see all the excitement pouring out of me? Well, you can't, for two reasons: 1) You can't see me. 2) I'm being sarcastic! Woooooooo!
