Whew! The past few days have been indescribable.
Thursday was my performance with Camerata. I thought it went really well. I was a little nervous before going out on stage, but as soon as I stepped out and was greeted with applause.....*whoosh* all my worries left me. Sure, I had a few glitches/screw-ups in my playing, but I really didn't care. I just smiled and kept going. After I was finished, I received a standing ovation and a curtain call. Overall, it was a great experience, and I was very happy with my performance. From what I remember, the Shostakovich went well that night as well.
Friday night I went with some friends to Comedy Sportz. It was my first time, but DEFINITELY not the last. I loved it. I was so proud when Emily won the first game for her team. They even used many ideas that Ilya and I threw out.
Anyway, on to today. I played at a masterclass down at IU. It went well, although I think I played better on Thursday. I wanted to be home around 3 so that I would have plenty of time to hang out with Emily, but come 4, I'm still in Bloomington. I got home around 5:30, and went out to dinner with Emily. Unfortunately, we couldn't hang out for too long cuz she had to babysit. :( However, the time we did spend together was great. I have so much fun when I'm around you.
Anyway, I'm off for now. Lata gators.
