[Fandom] HBP - First Impression

Like the title said, just impressions.

Movie Rant
They will never make a Potter movie that will satisfy me. No matter how awesome it is, I will find something wrong with it.
Insane birds should have been funnier.
Ron's poisoning shouldn't have been funny at all.
... I... don't know what to think of Lupin/Tonks, actually. On one hand, glad it was downplayed. On the other... I... almost wish that if they were going to leave it in they'd have done it right rather than half-assed it. Nevermind that Lupin and Tonks both were pretty useless and superfluous the way the movie told the story anyway.
End? Totally wrong. Not only how they changed it, but what they changed it to. It was completely out of character for Harry, and thus stupid.
Draco? ILU. You don't have to be a complete woobie to have my love. Just redeemable. Tom Felton = win.
Danny should stick to comedy after this. He's brilliant at comedy. Luckily, they figured out not to actually have him cry on camera except when curled in the wuvving arms of his Ginners.
Harry/Ginny even MORE unbelievable in the movie, if that's even possible.
Lavender - Hilarious.
Snape... I want to know if it was Yates' decision or Rickman's to make Snape's inner turmoil and thus true intentions so very freaking obvious. And no matter who's choice it was, I want to smack the shit out of them.
