It's a class and a book all about JavaScript, and it's like... what??? What the HELL is this book talking about? What it's telling me is making no sense, and even though I'm supposed to be learning about JavaScript, how it works and how to write it, I have a sneaking suspicion this book assumes I already know the

It's called, oh so creatively, JavaScript. Fourth Edition. It's by Don Gosselin (not Jon, Don! XD) and published by Thompson Course Technology.
