2014 was a year of Holy-Crap-My-Dreams-Are-Coming-True. I survived the book release! I have a book! It’s available in libraries in Wellington, New Zealand and Singapore and everywhere in between! Most every Barnes & Noble in America carries it, and about a dozen airport bookshops, ( Read more... )

Things have changed. I mean, holy cow, I have a two-book deal with HarperCollins Voyager. I have a contract. The stuff I've emphasized in the past--short stories and poetry--isn't as much of a priority now, though I'll keep up with them if I can.

Most articles and blog posts on resolutions hit the first week of January. "Being timely" and all that. It's silly, really. People start the year all motivated. By February or March, reality sets in.
