Insanity, and good news
*deep breath*
Things have been crazy here. I was hoping to make another post yesterday, but it just didn't happen. The EMT book reading goals for today and yesterday have been met. Yesterday I sent two submissions, which puts me above my goal for the month. As for writing and editing... that just hasn't happened. It's been enough to stay up-to-date online and ensure that Critter isn't covered in fecal matter and/or trying to kill himself. That task will be even more onerous as he has only ONE more day of school for this year. I found this out yesterday. The rest of the district goes through Friday, but apparently preschool ends a day early.
But hey, I have good news!
One of my essays is in the running for a Chicken Soup anthology. I need to mail them the signed paperwork, and hopefully it will only take a month or so to be confirmed as a finalist. I'm crossing fingers and toes here.
