I have better things to do right now than talk to you Journal, but like a true procrastinator, I am wasting precious moments of work time.
Headlines: The economy is in the tank, I need a job.
Health: I will announce victory over the flu, just as soon as I get my voice back.
Arts and Leisure: I went to the Met this weekend and saw the Pierre Bonnard show. I'm ambivalent about him. I think he's more interesting in the context of history than on his own. His work does not universally please me to look at, but there are some insights and moment of good work.
Sports: The gallery I work for had an opening on Friday which went really well, afterward we went out to a bar and I got drunk. April and I stopped off after to satisfy our hunger with pizza and cannoli in little Italy.
Food: My roommate's annoying boyfriend is staying over right now and he has this frustrating habit of spreading his stuff out all over our apartment. The worst part of this is that they cook fancy dinners at night which take hours and totally obstruct me from making a dinner of my own. Last night I had to wait till 10:30 just to sneak in long enough to make some salad and toast. This morning I was picking up their dirty dishes and random bits of his clothing spread out all over our tiny kitchen and sitting area just so I could get a bowl of cereal. Grumble!
Business: Did I mention that I need a job?
