i rescued this seriously old school sound system from the ifc today... the top part is a tape deck and it's got inputs for a turntable... :)
huge speakers :D but they don't sound quite as good as they look... they don't sound bad; the high end is beautiful but there's not much in the way of bass.The speaker cables on it are seriously shrimpy, and it's got a farly small amp on it too, both of which probably hurt the sound. So yeah, i'll just hook it in with my computer system and let the two subwoofers i already have cover the low end... :)
It does make me happy to walk into my room and see a stack of speakers taller than the tv stacked on the fridge... lol
