All eyes are definitely on Michael Phelps as he doubles the number of gold medals he has when he finished first in the 200m Individual Medley event at the Beijing Olympics. He has been a two-time front page picture with the Philippine Daily Inquirer (I say it like it's as prestigious as his world records :P), and here's a funny quote from a reader in an article from AP:
"Is it true," wrote reader Pat Lester, "that Michael Phelps can take a three-minute shower in 2 1/2 minutes?"
Well, some of us wish we'll just be in the shower room at the Water Cube just so we know. I did tell Patty Lazatin I want to apply as his iPod nanny. Honestly, he just listens to hip-hop, so it will be a relatively easy job (and to make things more fangirl pathetic, I shifted to using my white earphones because I saw Michael Phelps using his white earphones).
However, let's turn the spotlight from the most talked-about man in the planet, to his close friend and pool rival, Ryan Lochte.
Ryan just won another gold, this time in an individual event, when he graced the finals of the 200m backstroke yesterday. He is major eyecandy, believe me, and I must admit so is Park Taehwon of Korea, but let's keep it at Ryan. He seems like your typical dumb jock, but by god, he has the most adorable eyes and the most gorgeous locks I have ever seen.
A look into HIS world just levelled up my obsession. He's not just hot, but he has an Imelda Marcos-like eccentricity to him. ALAVET!!!
