GUMMING MY WAY TO THE STAGE
I forgot to mention that sitting 3 tables behind us at Largo on Monday was Sandra Oh...as in "Oh, aren't you that chick from Grey's Anatomy and Sideways?"
Yup...she is.
And let me tell you something...raspberries and beer are a yummy combination.
So, yesterday was a massively shitty day.
My job made me cry more than once.
I ate absolutely nothing.
My mom decided to pick a fight with me about how I am the reason my job sucks.
And, I ended the night 2 wheezes away from a full blown allergy attack.
On the plus side...we had a great rehearsal last nite. The members of Jeezum Crow rocked the front room of the Silverlake House like nobody's business. It was awesome. And, every moment that I spend creating and performing remind me to keep treading through the bullshit. In the end., the hard work makes it all worth it.
Still...my day job totally sucks.
Today, I pimped the hell out of Jeezum Crow. E. fixed up the myspace page and wrote a killer bio for us. And, slowly the friend list grows. I can't wait till we can put up some music. I hate myspace music pages sans music. Makes me mad.
But, even more exciting than that is the fact that we have our first show in a month. I'm totally stoked and I hope alot of you can come out for it. A splendid time is most definitely guaranteed for all.
My legs are really sore. I'm pretty sure it's the rain. And the fact that I'm a crippled old lady.
