God, even the retarded 909 and Santa Clarita/Antelope Valley got snow.

I mean, I know that there's like no love for The Valley, but Mother Nature - say it ain't so!
We haven't seen snow since 1989, and even then it was only in the northern part of the valley like Chatsworth and Porter Ranch. We were so shocked as we drove up to E.T. park and sledded down dangerous hills on collapsed cardboard boxes smiling and laughing like idiots. We left with bruised and in sopping wet jeans. It was so much fun...yet so weird that we didn't have to drive at least an hour to get to it.
I'm checking the news online and seeing pictures of people walking on their pools (a.k.a. personal ice skating rinks of chlorinated death), snow covered palm trees, and black ice on the freeways.
I'm so confused.
AND STILL - With all this snow coming my way, do you think I'd get to see any of it falling from the sky??
Mother Nature hates the valley and me.
She won't even let me see the one thing that I've been dying to see my whole life.
