Nine years, and other random things
My SO and I were married nine years ago today. That's not quite 1/4 of my lifetime. In a way it seems like a long time, but then, we were going out for three years before that. I put it in perspective to myself earlier by thinking that if Juno lives a reasonable life span for her size, she has another good dozen years or so, which would be as long as SO and I have been together so far.
I still can't decide if that makes it seem long or short, though. We have no special plans for tonight, owing to monetary considerations. Just dinner at home (although I'm having a steak, which is a little bit special I guess). And I'll give him the vest I made. He's off having a (hopefully minor) car repair done.
Um... have done LIS work, although not as much as I would have liked because I've also been hit by a massive headache this afternoon, which has no discernible cause (not weather, not hormones, not stress). :-( I napped for a bit, but it hasn't helped.
