It was 82 degrees out when I walked Juno at 6:15 this morning. It's 88 degrees now, at 10:20, and supposed to hit 103 this afternoon. There's an ozone/air quality warning today, and a heat advisory through 10 pm on Friday.
No wonder I didn't sleep well last night. Even with the AC on and the fan going, it was still warm around the edges, and I just don't sleep well when it's that warm. (Plus I had trouble turning off my brain, which just happens sometimes.)
On the plus side, since SO is now back, he gets to do the afternoon walk (if needed - if he's out on the porch, which astonishingly is not unlikely, Juno will be out with him and may take care of all necessary business without being officially walked).
Also, the roofer is supposed to come by this evening to discuss final details and scheduling. Hurrah and finally!
Possible peach pie production tonight. Need to check with SO to see if he wants that, or if he'd rather just eat the peaches plain...
