I'm home safely; have been doing back-home things like laundry and grocery shopping (the laundry complicated by the fact that the dryer circuit has blown and was sending out nasty smoke - electrician coming tomorrow, and SO bought some clothesline so we could dry stuff in the back yard) and catching up on finances (*shudder* at the amount currently on the credit card).
As a last gasp of my vacation, I went to see PotC:OST today, about which I will only say right now that I enjoyed it but missed Will, Elizabeth, and Norrington a lot (and like the follow-up to AWE that cruisedirector and I wrote, "We Have an Accord," rather better, *g*).
Hoping to write a final vacation update tomorrow or so. I'd better get to bed now so I can get up at 5:15 and go back to work.
And UGH, it's supposed to be 100 DEGREES here tomorrow. It was so PLEASANT on the west coast and in the mountains, and now being dumped back into hot summer? BLECH.
