OH!
i keep forgetting to update this, and i've no idea why i'm remembering now, but anyway...it turns out that, technically, my computer can handle the games i own....i have a fast enough processor, and a good enough graphics card, and MORE than enough memory. i even helped jeff figure this out, so i'm not completely made of fail! just partially...cuz, like i was able to find the specs on the computer, but then he had to tell me what they meant. and i've forgotten again already...but i found them! i'm special. anyway. um....so, yeah, my computer has the right pieces, they just don't work. bottom line, i need a new computer. again. an actual, new computer. he says i should be able to get a decent one for between one and two grand; i don't NEED a 5k monster, cuz that would be overkill. i don't play games that're that demanding. so, under 2k. fine, but i still don't have the dough, and the other problem is that almost all computers come with windows vista now, and EW! that is the LAST program i want on my computer! so, i don't know what to do...even if i get a job and save money, i'll still not be able to get what i'm looking for. it's like the job thing, why is it so hard? i want a fast, powerful computer that can handle my games, that's pretty, and that doesn't come with windows vista, xp is just fine. but no~o, they don't DO that anymore.
