Director Shepherd watched through the window along with Officer David as Captain James Whistler paced the interview room. "How long do you think he will last?" She quietly asked Ziva, a expert on interrogation.
"Well he is a captain in the Navy so he is well trained and prepared but then again he has definitely made Micheal mad, so I would say four and a half to five minutes."
The Director smiled just as the door to the interview room opened and Micheal and a dark haired woman entered the room. "Captain Whistler this is Veronica Donovan from Child Services" Micheal introduced.
The Captain attempted to look confused "What is she doing here?"
"Miss Donovan will now be assisting us on this case, we were concerned when we found your pubic hair on your daughters body" Micheal said obviously not in mood to waste time.
The Captain stood up "I did not kill her."
Micheal smiled bitterly "I am sure you didn't, We also found evidence on your daughter of constant rape over a long period of time and the blond strand of hair found in their room is over four years old, so it looks like someone was trying to plant some evidence."
"I don't know what you are talking about" James Whistler said through gritted teeth.
"So is that the meaning behind the phrase 'lying through your teeth'" Ziva asked the Director who nodded.
"So far I have enough to charge you with rape and cruelty to a child in your care and I could probably go for accessory to murder."
"I already told you I didn't do it" Whistler shouted aggressively.
"But you know who did" Micheal replied calmly "One of the worst things about prison is you can't access the fifty grand that magically appeared in your bank account three days ago."
James Whistler sat silently.
"Do you want to know what prison is really like? All those horrible murderers, mobsters, gang leaders, and everyone else? the majority of those people have children themselves so they all gang up on the pedophiles."
The Captains eyes were wide but Micheal continued relentlessly "I am sure you can imagine a wide variety of criminals like that can come up with a few interesting torture techniques for a man that rapes his own children."
Micheal watched the other man carefully, he knew about the violence James Whistler suffered as a child so he had a fair idea what would break him "Its a pity you wont say anything that would make us consider putting you in a relatively safer prison."
Finally, Whistler looked up "What do you want?"
"A name" Micheal replied flatly.
Whistler was silent again until Micheal slapped the table to get his attention "Teddy Bagwell" Captain Whistler whispered with tears running down his face.
Next door Ziva immediately rushed out as Director Shepherd watched the room, Gibbs had trained Micheal well and she was pretty sure what would come next, sure enough Micheal was silent until he reached the door where he turned back to face Whistler "About that deal, I lied you will get your just desserts after all."
"What do we have?" Micheal asked his team as he ran down from the interview room
"Theodore Bagwell. Priors for murder, assault, rape, fraud, it seems anything he can get his dirty hands on he will do" Tony said.
"What is he doing on the outside then?" Micheal asked.
"Teddy squealed on someone apparently quite big and the prison not only set him loose but gave him a reward of fifty grand." Tony said bringing his picture up on the big screen.
"Wow" Ziva said "He is repulsively ugly"
Tony nodded "That my dear Ziva is the byproduct of a man raping his mentally retarded sister"
"So where is he? where is the girl?" Micheal asked exasperated.
"A lot of his crimes seem to relate in some way back to the same place, the farmhouse where he grew up just outside of Rockville" Ziva said looking through his records.
Micheal nodded "The place where he still feels safe, lets go"
They could hear it as soon as they arrived, a young girl screaming. They entered the house without the need for stealth and quickly made their way towards the noise, what they saw inside the room sickened them all.
There was blood everywhere, she had obviously already been raped and Teddy Bagwell was lying naked next to her, watching and laughing as she screamed in pain. He looked completely outraged as Micheals team burst into the room but quickly put the knife to her neck.
"Don't come any closer or I will slit her pretty neck" Teddy said as he licked her neck.
Micheal looked around "Nice place, tell me did your father ever let you rape your mother or did he think you were not up for it?"
Teddy suddenly looked furious "Shut up!" He yelled at Micheal.
"What about you? Did he ever let you do him or was it always the other way around?" Micheal asked.
Teddy roared and throwing the girl towards the window (Ziva reached her just in time) he charged towards Micheal who coolly shot him twice, once in Teddys right knee, and the other somehow landed in the base of Teddys penis.
Teddy immediately dropped screaming to the floor while McGee and DeNozzo surrounded him and took his knife as Ziva took the girl out to Veronica outside waiting for her.
"How did you know that would work Boss?" McGee asked.
Micheal smiled "With a background like that wouldn't you be touchy about it?" He replied as they watched the various police and ambulances around them.
Veronica came up to them "This is certainly going to affect her for the rest of her life, poor thing" She told them.
Micheal nodded "Will you please make sure she gets a good home?" He asked one of his oldest friends.
Veronica smiled "Don't worry Micheal, I will be keeping a very close eye on her"
